How much does a massage cost?
Swedish relaxation massage and tailored bodywork are the same price:
- 60 minutes: $80
- 90 minutes: $115
- 120 minutes: $150
A 30-minute foot and calf massage or shoulder and scalp massage is $45 on its own, or $40 when added to a longer massage.
What’s the difference between Swedish relaxation massage and tailored bodywork?
Swedish relaxation massage uses smooth, gliding strokes with firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation and ease muscle tension. Tailored bodywork is a customized therapeutic session that adapts techniques to your specific pain, problem areas, and muscle tension on any given day.
What’s included in the price?
Pricing is all-inclusive. Every service includes unlimited tool use (hot stones, decompression cupping, Theragun, muscle scraper, and bamboo roller stick) and free aromatherapy (lavender, peppermint, sweet orange, or lemongrass), with no add-on fees.
Do hot stones cost extra?
No. Hot stones are included in every massage at no extra charge, along with aromatherapy and the other tools.
Do you offer a first-visit discount?
Yes. New clients get 10% off their first visit, so a 60-minute massage is $72 instead of $80. This is an ongoing offer for new clients.
Do you offer a massage membership?
Yes. The membership is $70 a month and includes one 60-minute massage each month. Extra massages are $70 each. To ask about membership, text (903) 480-0096 or email [email protected].
Can I book a shorter session or add a focus area?
Yes. A foot and calf massage and a shoulder and scalp massage are each 30 minutes. You can book either one on its own for $45, or add it to a longer massage for $40.
For foot and calf work, wear something that leaves your legs bare from the knees down. The shoulder and scalp massage uses jojoba oil, so your hair will get some oil in it.
How do I book an appointment?
The easiest way is to book online through MassageBook, where you can choose your service and time. You’ll need a card on file when you book. It’s there to cover the cancellation fee, and you can pay with any of the payment methods I accept at checkout. Have a question first? Text (903) 480-0096.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash, card, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and PayPal. Tips are appreciated but not required.
What should I expect at my first massage?
Your session happens in a private, quiet room. Let me know what you’d like from the session and any problem areas, and I’ll adapt the massage to you. During the massage, tell me when the pressure feels great, when it’s too much, or when something doesn’t feel right. Afterward, take a slow minute to sit up, and enjoy a glass of water if you’re thirsty.
What should I wear to my massage?
Nothing in particular. If you’d like lower-body stretches, compression shorts are a good idea. For a foot and calf massage, wear something that leaves your legs bare from the knees down.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, there’s a $35 cancellation fee. The fee doesn’t apply when you cancel for a medical reason, such as being sick or learning about a health issue that makes massage unsafe for you right now. Rescheduling because you’ve been drinking before your massage also comes with the $35 fee. Booking requires a card on file to cover the cancellation fee, but you don’t have to use that card to pay at checkout. To cancel or reschedule, text (903) 480-0096.
Can I drink alcohol before my massage?
Please don’t. Come in rested and sober. If you’ve had a drink on the day of your appointment, let me know at [email protected] and we’ll find another time. Rescheduling because of drinking comes with a $35 cancellation fee. Read more in Why Drinking and Massage Don’t Mix.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. I’m Terra Murphy, a Licensed Massage Therapist in Texas since January 2021 (license MT134346). I trained in the Navarro College massage program (June 2020), and I’m insured through my membership in the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
How can I reach you?
Text (903) 480-0096 or email [email protected]. To book, use the online booking at MassageBook.
